Red Bull have already sacked Sergio Perez and replaced him with Daniel Ricciardo. At least that's what Italian Motorsport thinks.
He has probably just had his contract extended for another two years. But Sergio Perez may already have been fired again.
Before the Belgian Grand Prix this past weekend, Red Bull's adviser Helmut Marko was very open about the fact that the team will evaluate the Mexican's efforts after the race. All with a view to whether there is a seat for him after the summer break or not.

But actually the medium means more than that. The media believe that Red Bull has already decided Perez's fate and replaced him with RB rider Daniel Ricciardo. Thus, both the other RB choir Yuki Tsunoda and the current reserve choir Liam Lawson have been wrecked in the first instance.

That is, to the same seat that the three are actually fighting for. This is allegedly due to the fact that, despite a somewhat fluctuating form curve, Red Bull team manager Christian Horner still has the greatest confidence in Ricciardo's abilities behind the wheel.
It all falls into place allegedly during RB and Red Bull's so-called 'filming days' at the Imola track in Italy in connection with the summer break. Here, Liam Lawson is sent out in an older 2022 racer, while Daniel Ricciardo gets the chance in a brand new Red Bull car.
And even if it is only an internal reshuffling of drivers, Red Bull's decision can still stimulate the driver market if Perez is left without a seat after the test at Imola.
The choir that really wants to shake things up is – as Danish Kevin Magnussen says – Carlos Sainz. The Spaniard was fired by Ferrari at the beginning of the season because the Italians would rather have Lewis Hamilton.
