Bugatti says goodbye to the giant W16 engine with a bang from a Chiron. However, there are many indications that the revelation will be even wilder.
L'ultime is the 500th and last Bugatti Chiron ever. The French word can very aptly be translated directly to 'the last'.
Bugatti says so in a press release .
The Chiron era began in 2016, when the car, named after racing legend Louis Chiron, replaced the Veyron, which in turn relaunched the entire Bugatti brand in 2005.
The last Chiron is, like its 499 siblings, hand-built at Bugatti's factory in the French town of Molsheim. The paintwork is a mixture of "Atlantic Blue" and "French Racing Blue".

– This 500th and final Chiron model is a fitting farewell that captures a defining legacy that will forever be etched into automotive history.
The car paved the way for a bright new chapter that begins with the production of the Bolide and the W16 Mistral and continues with the unveiling of our new model in June, says Bugatti CEO Christophe Piochon in a press release.
Bugatti Chiron L'ultime 'nojes' with 1,500 horsepower from an 8-liter W16 engine with crazy four turbos. The yet-to-be-titled reveal is hitting just as many cylinders.
However, this happens in a V-shape and completely without charge pressure from turbos. Even so, the car is expected to have up to 1,800 horsepower and a speedometer that first runs out at 550 km/h. Read much more about it here.
