New Ferrari driver Lewis Hamilton has had an unfortunate start in Maranello. During a drive on the Barcelona track, the Briton skidded again. The car is said to have sustained several damages.
On Wednesday morning, Lewis Hamilton went wrong while testing an older Formula 1 car at Circuit Catalunya in Barcelona.

Hamilton himself was reportedly unharmed. But the car – a Ferrari SF23 – reportedly suffered extensive damage when it crashed into the barrier.
Due to the accident, the test drive for teammate Charles Leclerc had to be postponed, as Hamilton's car could not proceed without a tow truck and a flatbed truck.
Last week, both Ferrari teams tested older cars at the team's own track in Italy. The current test continues until tomorrow, Thursday.
Hamilton and Leclerc will first be in action in earnest in March, when the 2025 Formula 1 season begins in Australia at Albert Park in Melbourne.
Hamilton has experienced serious accidents throughout his time as a Formula 1 driver. The seven-time world champion suffered serious injuries when he went off the road at several hundred kilometers per hour during a test for McLaren back in 2007.
Many years later, the Briton was saved by the so-called Halo device when he collided with Red Bull's Max Verstappen during the Italian Grand Prix at the Monza circuit in Italy.
