From 2026, Jaguar will only sell and build electric cars. The first bid for an upcoming electric car has already been leaked. The brand itself presents the model this evening Danish time.
Jaguar's next bid for an electric car has been leaked for the presentation. Pictures of the concept car have appeared online. And they reveal a very low car that hints at Jaguar's future design language.
The concept car, which is expected to form the basis of three new electric cars from the British manufacturer, will be officially unveiled at Miami Art Week tonight (December 2-3).
The images show a car with a very minimalistic design that differs significantly from previous Jaguar models.
The long bonnet is reminiscent of some of Jaguar's classic models with large engines and gives the concept car a distinctive silhouette. The A-pillars are almost invisible and the side windows flare out towards the rear, almost giving the impression of a visor on a racer's helmet.
The front is characterized by a prominent "grill". Or at least the motif of a grill. And then a new light signature with very thin LED strips as headlights in each corner. The car has no rear window, something Boosted has already been able to tell more about.

The concept car is expected to be an electric GT model that heralds a new era for Jaguar. The first car based on the design language of the concept car is probably a larger sedan.
And like Jaguar's other upcoming models, it must cost at least one million kroner, says the managing director. In fact, from 2026 the former British brand will not sell a car at all if it does not cost at least 1 million Danish kroner from new. However, we still need an answer as to whether it is with or without Danish taxes.
