Korekort wrong ticket – driver faces 2 years in prison

A motorist faces 2 years in prison in Norway because he presented the wrong driving license during a check.

What was initially a gut feeling can lead to a driver smoking in prison in Norway.

During a check, the person in question presented a choir card, which caused the authorities to frown.

This is written by Norwegian TV2 .

– We see a lot of choir cards, and here there were several things that gave the inspectors a bad feeling in their stomachs.

– Choir cards made of polycarbonate should, for example, give a special metallic sound when dropped on a hard surface. This card didn't let on.

The print on the back must also be completely clear. It was foggy here. Nor did any monster emerge when the card was checked under UV light, says senior inspector Bjorn Uno Rogneby at the Norwegian Road Administration to Norwegian TV2.

And when the driver at the same time denied that the choir card was fake, there was only one thing to do. Namely to charge the man with document forgery. In Norway, forging a choir card can lead to up to two years in prison and a fine.
