From the 2025 season, Danish Kevin Magnussen will not be a Haas team member. Still, a future with the team may be lurking. Now the Dane has more to say.
Kevin Magnussen's Formula 1 career has been almost synonymous with Haas. But even though the world championships did not take place, there is still news about the future.
A future that may not have to be spent outside of Formula 1 after all, even if K-Mag is without a seat.
When Haas said in July that the team would rather have Esteban Ocon as choirmaster from the 2025 season onwards, it was not an angry team manager who slammed the door on Kevin Magnussen's head.
Instead, team boss Ayao Komatsu let it sting that he had rejected the possibility of another role at Haas with Kevin Magnussen. And although K-Mag confirmed that this was the case, neither the team manager nor he himself would say more.
But the Dane wants that now. At least a bit more.

– We are still working on it, Magnussen said when he had to sit out the Brazilian Grand Prix due to illness.
– We do not stress, as it is a busy period with many lobs. We know roughly what we want to do, so there is no rush, says a comment on the official Formula 1 website .
With three rounds left in the season, it's only about one thing for Haas. Namely sixth place in the Constructors' Championship. The team lost it well enough to Alpine because the French team miraculously got two cars to score points.
But in the battle between Alpine, RB Honda, Williams and Haas, it is not unlikely that the American team will draw the longest straw. In any case, both Nico Hulkenberg and Magnussen look in good shape after a number of important upgrades to the Haas cars.
