Is Fisker bankruptcy saved? Now there is news about 3,321 cars

The deal with Fisker Inc.'s entire inventory of cars in the United States now seems to be coming to fruition after all, because the car brand can retrieve data from a number of closed servers.

Fisker Inc. may still go bankrupt according to the plan laid out in the American judiciary. The shutdown agreement otherwise seemed to come to nothing.

The car brand had shut down its servers with data on 3,321 stock cars that the same American leasing company has bought.

Reuters writes that.

This caused the company to threaten to withdraw from the deal. A transaction that is the condition for Fisker Inc. In general, the business may be closed permanently.

But now the deal seems to be coming to fruition after all. The leasing company has agreed to pay an additional $2.5 million over five years to keep Fisker's servers running.

The agreement can have great significance for private owners of Fisker Ocean, as the open servers mean that they are an option for software updates, remote diagnostics and that the Fisker app works.

However, it is not the same as American Lease having an interest in also keeping other than their own Fisker cars running.
