Influencer sentenced for driving 149 km/h in his father's Porsche

A British influencer ticked and asked in court not to be convicted, even though she was driving 149 km/h in her father's Porsche Macan.

A British influencer has been fined for speeding 149 km/h in her father's Porsche Macan. Her speeding offence occurred on a stretch of road where the speed limit was 112 km/h.

When the police stopped the influencer, it turned out that she already had penalty points on her driving license for previous offenses, including speeding and lack of proof of insurance.

The total number of penalty points automatically resulted in a six-month driving ban, reports The Express .

The influencer, who is 32 years old, chose to take the case to court in the hope of getting the driving ban lifted.

She argued that a driving ban would have negative consequences for her work, as she often had to travel to clients with camera equipment and sometimes an assistant.

In addition, she mentioned that it would be difficult to transport her two small children to and from school and daycare without a car.

However, the court did not find the influencer's arguments convincing.

It was pointed out that since November she had managed without a car with the help of family and friends.

In addition, the children had been moved to a school closer to home to ease daily logistics.

The influencer expressed remorse in court for her speeding offense, but the court rejected her request to waive the driving ban.

In addition to the six-month driving ban, the influencer was fined approximately 2,800 Danish kroner and court costs of approximately 2,100 Danish kroner.

By Danish standards, this is a relatively mild punishment, even if it is not a case of reckless driving. Several famous faces have had to surrender both their cars and driving licenses to the state on that account.

For example, celebrity hairdresser Dennis Knudsen went on a rampage at Molslinjen in 2023. It cost him a leased Audi the following year. He also chose not to appeal either the fine or the suspended prison sentence to the High Court.
