In this one, the police reveal where they blitz motorists

Somewhat atypical for law enforcement, Nordsjælland's Police have begun to disclose where some of their photo vans are parked. This week is no exception.

New week, new speed booths.

But not necessarily in North Zealand's police district. Since April 2023, the police have openly told where some of the photo vans are sent.

Even then, the police said that they drew attention to the photo vans in order to 'increase road safety'.

– In order to strengthen traffic safety in North Zealand, our traffic police tell us every Sunday where some of our ATK vehicles are located in the coming week.

In week 17, which we have reached in 2024, there are photo vans in several places in the North Zealand area. Among other things in Hillerod and Allerod. Just as there is at least one photo van 'hiding' on the Helsingor motorway.

Nordsjælland's Police informs this on its social media.

And although the North Zealand law enforcers now openly say where they stand with the photo vans, the so-called automatic traffic control is a gold mine for the state.

As far back as 2012, the photo vans – and what they could bring in – were quite obviously fast on the Finance Act. Here at Boosted, we have also already told you how much money the photo vans bring in each year. Read more about it here .

It is also not always that motorists and police mother each other with equal joy. After a legal hit at Flyvestation Karup in May last year, the police were ready with the stall block.

This meant, among other things, 335 charges and 8 impounded cars. Something Trine Kromann, who participated in the meeting, called to TV Midtvest 'a witch hunt'. However, the criticism bounced off the Central and West Jutland Police. Read more about it here .

HERE NORTH ZJÄLLANDSKE PEDESTRIAN WILL BE HOLDING IN WEEK 17:
• Helsingor motorway, Lyngby

• Isterodvejen, Hillerod

• Hillerod motorway, Allerod

• Gribskovvej, Kagerup

• Kongevejen, Fredensborg
