The media refers to a report from Denmark Statestik, which shows that over the past 15 years it has become 35.6 times more expensive to travel with public transport. And that's for the new price increases.

In the same period, however, it has 'only' become 23 percent more expensive to sit behind the wheel of a car, when expenses for the purchase of the car, repairs, fuel and service as well as insurance are taken into account.
To Ekstra Bladet, Transport Minister Thomas Danielsen (V) says that public transport must be bad, because it will be good.
The minister emphasizes that there are investments in public transport in particular on the way. It just doesn't change the fact that right now and here it has become significantly more expensive to take the bus.
