How expensive is a service for the Mercedes-AMG One?

The Formula 1 car with license plates is not a cheap pleasure. A service of the Mercedes-AMG One alone will ruin most fatal drivers.

An owner of a Mercedes-AMG One has recently revealed the costs associated with the car.

A car that is not called the Formula 1 with license plates for no reason.

Servicing cars in general has become a more expensive affair. But an AMG-One service will blow most people's finances to shreds.

The German YouTuber known as "Gercollector", who keeps his identity a secret, acquired a new Mercedes-AMG One in 2024.

He shared information about the car's first annual service. This included replacing various fluids and a general inspection of the vehicle.

A "small" service takes up to 80 working hours

According to the information provided by the German collector, it cost 80 hours of labor alone, and the total price for the service amounted to 39,000 euros, which corresponds to around 300,000 Danish kroner.

The car's recommended price without taxes in Denmark is around 20 million kroner.

In addition to the annual service, there is another significant expense associated with owning a Mercedes-AMG One.

After 50,000 kilometers, the entire engine must be replaced with a brand new one. This costs an insane 800,000 euros, equivalent to approximately 8.6 million Danish kroner.

Whether any privately owned AMG-One will ever make it that far is another matter entirely, and to be honest, we don't think it will happen.

"Gercollector" has also listed prices for individual spare parts for the car. A single rim costs around 160,000 kroner.

A specific carbon fiber component on the car's front panel costs approximately DKK 360,000. And should the helmet be damaged, the repair will cost DKK 280,000.

Mercedes plans to produce a total of 275 units of the AMG One. The car is designed with two seats and constructed with a carbon fiber body and monocoque.

The drivetrain consists of a centrally located Formula 1 engine (a 1.6-liter V6, ed.) with hybrid technology and separate electric motors at each front wheel. The total output in the Mercedes-AMG One is stated to be 1,063 horsepower.
