Here, the electric car is 179 percent cheaper than the petrol car

It does not matter how the Danes go on ski holidays. At least not if the distance to the destination has to be traveled by car, new mapping shows.

For many Danes, February means a skiing holiday. But it doesn't matter which car you choose to travel in.

At least not if it has to be economically viable to do it the 'chor-self' way. This shows a settlement from the comparison portal Samlino.

The company states this in a press release .

Here, they have calculated what it costs to get from Copenhagen to three of the Danes' favorite ski holiday spots.

The trip goes from Copenhagen to Zell Am See in Austria, Trysil in Norway and Val Thorens in France. And perhaps not so surprisingly, there is a lot to be saved by thinking about it.

According to the comparison portal, the most economical thing to do is to take the trip in a Tesla Model 3. The savings are as much as 179 percent on the trip to France compared to making the same trip in a gasoline-powered car.

Although another electric car – in this case a Volkswagen ID.4 – also does it significantly cheaper than a petrol car. That is, if you drive in a Peugeot 208.

However, that does not exempt people in electric cars from thinking about the economy. Because power for the trip is not enough alone. There are other expenses, points out the insurance manager at Samlino Mads Bukholt.

– An important point to remember is that any kind of resistance will affect battery performance in electric cars. But incorrect tire pressure or worn brakes can also increase the resistance under the car, regardless of whether it is an electric car or a petrol car.

It costs the winter's 'choir-self-holiday'.
