According to the news agency Reuters, it is not just any car brand that the crisis-stricken Fisker Inc., headed by Danish Henrik Fisker, is in negotiations with.
It will give the Japanese access to an electric pickup. On the other hand, it could possibly mean that Fisker is kept afloat financially.
It is allegedly Nissan that Fisker, headed by Danish Henrik Fisker, alludes to in a press release from 29 February.
In this, the brand writes that it is in negotiations for a partnership with another car brand, without, however, being named.
Allegedly, the car brands are currently discussing an investment in the order of 'more than 400 million dollars'. This corresponds to DKK 2.75 billion.

The news agency claims to have the information from two sources who 'have knowledge' of the negotiations. The sources also believe they know that the agreement between the parties can be closed as early as this month.
However, the fact that there are talks between the parties is no guarantee of Fisker Inc.'s survival. The electric car brand itself admits this.
In return for the investment, Nissan gets access to a license agreement on the pickup Alaska, which Fisker aims to be able to roll out on the roads in the course of 2026.
A car the Japanese will actually be able to build in the USA, as Nissan already has factories in the cities of Mississippi and Tennessee.
At present, Fisker hires out to the Austrian manufacturer Magna Steyr, which already builds cars for Mercedes, BMW and Toyota.
