On Wednesday this week, Tesla celebrates its 10th anniversary in Sweden. The car brand did the same in Denmark earlier this year. But for a slightly different reason.
Earlier this year, Tesla celebrated two years since opening its Supercharger charging stations to all other car brands.
This resulted in a period of free charging in Denmark. And now the turn has come to Sweden. But it is for a slightly different reason.
Tesla's network of electric car chargers is celebrating 10 years in Sweden. That's why the brand lets all electric car owners charge for free for 24 hours from midnight tonight and all day on November 6. The rule applies to all electric cars that are geographically located in Sweden.
The question is whether there are any electric cars with Danish number plates that are in Sweden during the period. But at least the chance is there.
Tesla has Sweden's largest charging network with over 1,200 charging points. The brand cannot boast of that at home. Only back in March this year, charging point number 500 opened in Denmark. In return, Tesla has plans to place Europe's largest charging station in Denmark. Read more about it here .
Very much speaking of Tesla, there has recently been an engineer with a bit of humor at work. The car brand's newest function is abbreviated to 'ass' or rov in Danish. You can see more about what it entails in the video below.
