Hennessey test crews could walk away unscathed from an accident, even if it happened at 402 km/h at NASA's Kennedy Space Center.
Hennessey test driver escaped unscathed on Monday 1 July, despite losing control of a prototype at 402 km/h.
This is what the car brand writes in a post on the social media Instagram .
The accident happened when Hennessey was testing the speed from 0 to 402 km/h with a new aerodynamic setup.
The brand's founder John Hennessey says in the post that the car behaved as it should, immediately before the accident. Subsequently, the people behind it believe that the test car lost control due to an aerodynamic problem.

Hennessey does not provide further information about the accident. But John Hennessey has personally thanked the paramedics who were on the scene immediately.
Hennessey has also not said anything about which version of the Venom F5 was tested. But regardless of the set-up, this is a completely crazy car.
The Venom F5, which was presented to the public in 2021, will be built in only 24 copies. And even then, Hennessey had to announce that everything was sold out. The few but very lucky owners all get to enjoy a car with at least 1,600 horsepower from a 6.6-liter V8 engine.
The car's price is at least as crazy as its specifications. The car with the least equipment and 'least' horsepower costs 13.3 million Danish kroner. Read more about it here .
