He bought 3,321 Fisker Ocean at once

The American leasing company American Lease spent 4-5 months getting the agreement for the purchase of 3,321 cars in house with Fisker Inc., says an employee named Josh in a new interview.

– We all know what the owners go through and try to find a solution.

That's what Josh from the American leasing company American Lease says, which this month bought 3,321 cars from the bankrupt Fisker Inc.

However, there are many indications that American Lease will initially focus on software and the production of parts for its own cars. Private Fisker Ocean owners come second.

And probably not all Fisker Ocean owners are in that range. In a new interview, the American Lease representative says that he encourages everyone to join the Fisker Owners Association. But that association is American.

– We need to manufacture spare parts for our cars, regardless of how it ends. And when we succeed in doing that, we want to find a way to share it with the Fisker Owners Association.

At the same time, American Lease refuses to help the individual Fisker owner who may have problems with his Ocean. All communication will go through the Fisker Owners Association.

However, membership of FOA is no guarantee that private Fisker owners can keep their cars on the road. In the agreement that American Lease has signed, it states that they may not drive other cars than the ones they have bought themselves.

– In the agreement we signed, it says that we can only tinker with our own cars, therefore we must not tinker with other people's cars, says Josh.

However, this does not mean that all other Ocean owners are necessarily ignored, says the American Lease representative, who expresses sympathy for the other owners.

– We all know what the owners go through and constantly try to have good communication to find a solution, says Josh from American Lease.

The American leasing company is not the only one who has thrown money at Fisker. Recently, a car dealer bought 30 Ocean at once after the car brand's subsidiary went bankrupt. Read more about it here .
