Hacker has discovered secret Tesla function

It doesn't exist yet, but Tesla is getting ready for voice control, a deeper look into the car brand's latest software reveals.

Tesla owners can already talk to their cars. But this is not an actual 'assistant function'. But now it's on its way.

That reveals a look at the latest version of Tesla's software 2024.14.3. It is again the "X" user 'Green' who has sniffed out what the car brand hides in the software.

Earlier, the hacker revealed Tesla's so-called 'Elon Mode', which turns off every warning in a Tesla, even if you don't have your hands on the wheel. Read more about it here .

The new thing that Tesla is coming up with is a voice assistant. Something like this already exists with many of the competitors. For example, you can already talk to your Mercedes, BMW or Audi. Even Ferrari is listening.

But not at Tesla. Not yet anyway. But it will come. "X" user Green believes that Tesla will use a 'standardized' female voice. What Microsoft calls a 'JennyNeural'.

It is not known whether there is also a male voice among the code that 'Green' has sifted through and released the meaning of.

It is also not clear from the leak whether Tesla intends to equip the voice assistant with artificial intelligence. But according to a media such as Auto Bild, it is 'very possible'.

Tesla director Elon Musk said already last autumn that his own startup xAI and Tesla would 'work more closely together in the future'.

However, not everything is good news in Tesla-land. Neither for the car brand itself nor for the owners of the cars. Most recently, Elon Musk has fired all employees in the most important part of Tesla at all. Read more about it here .
