Gut in Bugatti for DKK 70 million destroys gas stations

It has happened that someone forgot the gun and just short of the gas station. But hardly in a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport for DKK 70 million. So not for now..

With Danish VAT and registration tax, a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport costs 70 million Danish kroner.

It is hardly that expensive to replace a hose on a gas station. But that's exactly what a Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport owner comes to. If it hasn't already happened.

Anyway, it's all caught on surveillance from a Shell station in Costa Mesa, California. The boy in the car simply forgets what he is at the gas station for.

Otherwise, he was hardly short of the scene without first having removed the tank gun and hose from the insanely expensive Bugatti. But that's exactly what happens.

Presumably the boy behind the wheel has forgotten all about the fact that there can be 100 liters of high-octane petrol in the tank of a Chiron.

According to Carup, the man behind the wheel must have paid 1,300 Danish kroner as compensation for his stupidity. Plus what it cost him to fill the car with gas.

Another thing is the damage the car may have received. Because it can quickly get worse. Much worse. And above all more expensive. Just painting a 'regular' Chiron, which the car here isn't even, takes 5 weeks. That is, as per car! And that's if you stay within the 'standard colours'.

The Chiron Pur Sport has been built in 60 copies since 2020. Its 8-liter W16 engine with four turbos produces 1,500 horsepower and 1,600 newton meters. Enough to send it from 0-100 km/h in 2.4 seconds and all the way to an electronically limited top speed of 350 km/h.

A total of 500 examples of the Chiron will be built. Bugatti also already has the replacement ready. And even with a brand new engine. Although the 16 cylinders live on. Read more about the Bugatti Tourbillon here .
