Günther Steiner has got a new job again

Eternal fan favorite and former team principal Günther Steiner has landed another job this Formula 1 season. This time in Miami.

Günther Steiner need not fear unemployment. After being kicked out of the Haas garage, the former team boss was initially picked up by Germany's RTL.

Here, Günther Steiner will act as commentator and expert during some of the lobs. Probably not the ones in Miami though.

Because here the organizer has hired Steiner as an ambassador. Yes, you read that right. Günther Steiner is unlikely to be a half-time clown, but he will still have to settle in as a figurehead for the event.

– Günther Steiner will help build and promote an exciting weekend. Just as he will appear before, during and after the lob, says the organizer.

The protagonist himself is also looking forward to seeing what Miami has to offer from a slightly different angle.

– I have seen with my own eyes the incredible growth Formula 1 has had in the USA, and there is so much potential the sport can continue to grow from. Especially with lobs like the one in Miami on the calendar, says Steiner.

The race itself is held at the Miami International Autodrome when the Formula 1 field visits the seaside resort on the first weekend in May.
