Gasoline prices plummet in Denmark – the lowest in 2024

Now is the time for drivers to refuel if the car needs it. Because petrol has not been cheaper in all that has passed since 2024.

Gasoline prices plummet in Denmark. In fact, right now it is not seen cheaper in the course of 2024.

Over the past two months, the petrol price has fallen by almost one and a half kroner per litres, and now it falls even more.

Right now a liter of petrol costs 13 kroner and 29 øre to fill up. It has not been seen cheaper since December 2023. And yet. For Boosted's web editor already in August refueled for 'just' DKK 13.09 a litre.

However, as the TV2 station also points out, the price can fluctuate both during the day and at the various petrol stations.

However, the price in Denmark is sky high compared to, for example, Sweden. Right now there is 'too much fuel' here, so the energy companies are almost holding a sale. And actually both on petrol and diesel. Read more about it here .

At home, however, the 'cheap' petrol – and partly diesel – is only a limited deadline. Because already from the new year, it has been politically decided that fuel taxes must be raised.
