French temptations on strom: Ë-Jumpy and Ë-Berlingo

If you are looking for an electric car with extra space – either for the large family or for life as a craftsman – there are two exciting options available from Karvil Biler. They are called Citroën Ë-Jumpy and Citroën Ë-Berlingo. We take a closer look at them here.

Electric cars have really landed in Denmark, and if you are one of the many Danes who are currently looking for a car that doesn't cost the till every time you visit the gas station, you should read along here. Because if you choose an electric car, you will never need to refuel. At least not after anything liquid other than coffee. We have stopped by one of Denmark's best dealers of French Citroën, Karvil Biler. And here we have found two cars that have something special in common. They both have plenty of space, and they are equipped with electric motors. Now even more sensible The first model is undoubtedly familiar to you. Citroën Berlingo is known as the cargo container above them all. But let's just be honest and say that there is a good reason for that. For a more practical and sensible car with room for the whole family, you have to look for a long time. And now Citroën has succeeded in making the champion of reason even more sensible and modern. At the same time that the design has been upgraded enormously. Citroën Ë-Berlingo fra Karvil Biler The name is Citroën Ë-Berlingo, and the French Ë naturally stands for Electric. Because the car is equipped with an electric motor of 136 hp and 260 Nm with a 50 kWh battery pack. This enables it to whiz through the city almost silently and with a clear conscience. It covers 285 km (WLTP) on a full charge, which is enough for most people's everyday needs. Electric cars are cheap to operate If you are going on a longer trip in an Ë-Berlingo, you can charge up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes at a 100 kW charger. And in addition, the car is plugged into a home charger for everyday use, so there is full power every morning. A home charger from Clever costs DKK 7,500 to set up, and in addition it costs DKK 749 at the time of writing to charge as much as you want each month. The costs for service and maintenance should also be low, as an electric car has significantly fewer parts that can wear out and break compared to a diesel or petrol car. The price for the new Citroën Ë-Berlingo starts at DKK 274,990, which is a sharp price for an electric car with such great space for the family. Read more about Ë-Berlingo here! Do you know Ë-Jumpy? But what if you don't need space for the whole family – what spacious electric cars are there? Here is the code word Citroën Ë-Jumpy, which is perfect for the craftsman who needs a van with reasonable space, but with an electric motor instead of the classic diesel engine. Citroën Ë-Jumpy fra Karvil Biler Many craftsmen probably know Jumpy, which drones around many places in the country for master carpenters, painters and many other types of craftsmen. But now Jumpy buyers can also go the environmentally friendly route and choose the Ë-Jumpy with the same electric motor as the family cousin Ë-Berlingo. So 136 hp and 260 Nm. Which is plenty for absolutely reasonable accelerations. The battery in the Ë-Jumpy is either 50 kWh or – if you need extra range – a whopping 75 kWh. It gives you a range of 330 km on one charge. As for most people, everything is sufficient to get out to the customers and back home in a noiseless and environmentally friendly manner. Citroën Ë-Jumpy is available in two lengths: L2 at 4.95 meters and L3 at 5.30 meters. This gives you between 4.5 and 6.6 m3 of storage volume. The payload is said to be up to 1,275 kg. The price of the efficient small electric van starts at DKK 243,990 + VAT. Read more about Ë-Jumpy here! Find your next car at Karvil Biler at Bondovej 13, 5250 Odense.
