A 46-year-old man has had his Audi A6 confiscated by the court in Aalborg, received a six-month conditional sentence and a suspension of his license for 10 years.
At the Court in Aalborg, a 46-year-old man has been disqualified from driving for ten years. The sentence was handed down last week and is based on three cases where the man has been stopped with amphetamine in his blood.

Because the man has a previous conviction, half a year of unconditional imprisonment was added to a sentence he has already received for theft.

– And the court therefore gave the maximum penalty for the traffic offences, says prosecutor Soren Julsgaard Thomsen.
However, the prosecutor says at the same time that the 46-year-old appealed the verdict on the spot. He wants a lighter sentence.
Therefore, the case must now also be assessed in the Western High Court. At the same time, this means that, despite the district court’s decision, the authorities must not touch the Audi yet.
