Fisker Ocean totally damaged – had one dent in the mandrel

Electric cars have become part of the use-and-throw-away culture. A Fisker Ocean with one dent in the mandrel is the same as total damage.

First, the workshop said it would cost a little over $900 to fix a dent that another driver had made in the door of a blue Fisker Ocean. However, it ended up costing a lot more.

And now the car, which is already a headache with faults, has been declared a total loss. This is what owner Joy Wanner tells Carscoops .

A month after the damage had occurred, the Fisker owner received the message that it would not be worthwhile to fix the dent.

It may not be the world's greatest loss. Because Joy Wanner also says that she has already had many technical problems with the car. One day the Fisherman seems fine. Only for the next day to go on a total strike.

– It is frustrating to pay so much for a car, only to be frustrated every time you use it, says Joy Wanner.

She also says that the car is so new that she has not even managed to receive the registration certificate. In the USA, this type is provided by the car importer.

Now Joy Wanner has received 53,303 dollars in compensation for the car. However, it is still far less than she initially paid for the car.

She admits to Carscoops that the brief acquaintance with the bankrupt car brand cost her well over 20,000 dollars.

However, it is far less than a Fisker Ocean can actually lose in value. And even much faster. Read more about it here .
