Fisker Inc. is banned from selling his last 30 cars

After the bankruptcy in Sweden, Fisker Inc. still 30 factory new cars in stock. The brand is now no longer allowed to sell them.

Even if the cars could be sold, it would probably be a struggle for Fisker Inc. to find enough copper. Now the car brand is not allowed to sell its last 30 cars in Sweden.

This is announced by Linda Schenholm, trustee of the bankruptcy estate Fisker AB, in a written reply to Carup .

The media was able to report earlier this week that one of the parent company Fisker Inc.'s investors had emptied the Swedish company's bank account of money.

Fisker subsequently went bankrupt in Sweden because there is no money to continue operations in the country, where the car brand i.a. owes more than half a million kroner in tax. Read more about it here .

The ban on selling the cars comes after a decision by the US authorities, who have found several faults with Fisker's cars. Error that Boosted has also told about.

– Regarding the lack of quality, an authority in the USA must have stopped the sale of the cars due to a safety risk.

– I have not yet seen the letter from the American authority, but according to information from the company, it concerns a fault with the mandrel handle on the passenger side and some kind of problem with a water tank, says the curator.

Fisker Inc. has not yet gone bankrupt. But several subsidiaries have already closed. Initially, it was done voluntarily in Austria in an attempt to save that part of the business. Since then, both Fisker in Norway and therefore Sweden have also gone bankrupt.

Here at home, Fisker Denmark ApS has not yet closed. But the company hastily left its premises in Taastrup back in May. A month later, the empty car dealership was again for rent.

To Boosted, the commercial broker states that at least one other car brand and a number of car dealers have expressed an interest in taking over the lease, which was initially taken up by Toyota. Read more about the place here .
