Fisher can't pay – now the owner owes DKK 71,000.

Just a few days after taking delivery of the car, the owner of a nearly new Fisker Ocean had problems with everything from locking to opening to starting the car. Now he owes DKK 71,000.

The owner of a Fisker Ocean must now pay a car dealer 71,000 Norwegian kroner, because the two have ended up in a lawsuit, which the car dealer got the better of.

The case concerns a Fisker Ocean that was bought last winter from the used car dealer Lysholm Bil in Trondheim, Norway.

The car, which had just under 2,000 kilometers at the time, was bought for DKK 680,000. Soon after, however, the car began to report one problem after another.

Already three days after the purchase, the owner experienced challenges with the car. He had difficulty locking, opening and starting it.

And at some point it became too much. But the car dealer would not agree to cancel the purchase. Therefore, the two ended up in the district court.

Here the owner argued that the car was already defective when he bought it. And that the car also cannot get any kind of updates that can remedy the problems.

The car is, says the owner, impossible to sell on for the same reason. The case has now been decided in the district court, where it is not believed that the car owner has a good enough case. The explanation about the many errors and the non-existent updates is not enough to cancel the purchase.

Not even if the car was worthless. So now the driver must pay the car dealer's legal costs of NOK 71,000. Just as he himself has to find the money for his own legal bills.

This case adds to the challenges that several owners of Fisker Ocean have experienced. Not least after Fisker Danmark went bankrupt earlier this year.

Among other things, the bankruptcy has meant that around 360 Danish owners are now themselves responsible for paying for warranty repairs. Read more about it here .

The car brand Fisker Inc. is not closed yet. However, the company is being liquidated in the USA. Something that also means that there is up to 170,000 Danish kroner available in 'discount' on a stock car. If you dare.

All stocks of Fisker Inc. cars must be emptied before the business can be closed permanently. Even the last Fisker Inc. employees left the brand's latest headquarters in chaos. The landlord talks about it here .
