Fired 14,000 at once – now Tesla is hiring people again

Back in April, Tesla had so many problems that 14,000 employees lost their jobs on the spot. Now the Americans are hiring people again.

If there is one place where things move quickly, it is in the world of cars. Back in April, Tesla fired 14,000 employees at once. But now the brand is ready for employees again.

This is written by the financial media Bloomberg .

Conversely, there is no question at all of Tesla giving the 14,000 fired employees their jobs and thus a salary again.

Instead, it is about 800 positions around Tesla that need to be filled. Tesla is looking for everything from experts in artificial intelligence to general service jobs.

25 of the positions must be filled in the department that develops Tesla's advanced cruise control, autopilot. A further 30 positions have been advertised in the department that works with the technology behind Tesla's robot technology Optimus.

Other departments, however, continue to operate with very low staffing. Among other things, this is the case in the Supercharger department, where Tesla's director Elon Musk fired every single employee.

However, only a few days passed, because he partially retracted his decision and offered some employees that they could get their jobs back.

However, Musk says at the same time that Tesla will spend as much as DKK 500 million, equivalent to DKK 3.4 billion, in expanding the Supercharger network. Europe's largest Supercharger station is also to be built in Denmark. Read more about it here .
