103-year-old Giuseppina Molinari was speeding so fast in her little Fiat that she was stopped by the police. However, she could not show any valid choir card.
Just because you are 103 years old, time does not need to stand still.
At least it doesn't for Giuseppina Molinari, who was recently stopped by the police in Bondeno, Italy.
In the first instance, the woman was made aware that she was too short. But it quickly turned out that she has not had a valid choir card for the past two years.
This is written by the TV station Rai , which has interviewed the mildly older woman.

– Right now I use my bicycle, but I need a scooter. I can't just give up my freedom. I will continue shopping, visiting friends and playing cards, says Giuseppina Molinari.
It also turned out that the little Fiat Panda that Molinari was wheeling around in had no active insurance. Molinari tells the media that she was a little annoyed at being stopped. But, as she says, the police officers were nice and treated her well.
Incidentally, it is not the first time that the 103-year-old has attracted the attention of the police. The exact same thing happened a few months ago when the car was impounded. Here, however, the police let her go on towards a raised index finger. Apparently without taking the core card's expiry date too seriously.
The town's mayor, Alan Fabbri, doesn't really know whether to laugh or cry over the old woman's corsage. Or rather 'reward' her for it.
– It is not politically correct to give her a medal rather than a fine. Of course, the traffic rules must be respected. At the same time, she gives me hope for the future and my own age.
Fortunately, people in the local community who actually have choir cards have started offering Giuseppina Molinari a lift every now and then so that she can attend to her goals and her social life.
