FDM advises Danes not to buy from "Danish" car brands

Stay away from cash purchases. The advice from FDM sounds so simple when it comes to the suffering Fisker Inc. with Danish Henrik Fisker at the helm.

The Danes should think twice, because they are investing in a Fisherman. In fact, the Danish interest organization now completely advises its members against buying Fisker's cars.

The organization itself writes this on its website .

Motorists who have nevertheless burned themselves hot on a Fisker Ocean, which is the brand's only model so far, should instead consider leasing, it says.

– FDM's advice in the current precarious situation for Fisker Inc. is that private leasing is the way forward if you are still interested in a Fisker Ocean, says consumer economist Ilyas Dogru.

It is far from the first time that FDM advises Danes against throwing money directly at a car brand. Even if it, i.e. the brand, is popular. Read more about it here .

However, other than the economic uncertainty can turn on the warning lights at FDM. Back in 2021, for example, the organization called for motorists to avoid a life-threatening Renault.Read more about it here .

Back at Fisker, the Danish director is currently fighting to keep bankruptcy from happening. Earlier, the news agency Reuters believed that they could lift the veil that Fisker is in negotiations with Nissan for an investment in the order of 400 million dollars.

But in a press release from Fisker Inc. it also appears that the car brand currently risks running out of money within the next 12 months and that you cannot guarantee your own survival.

Here at Boosted, we have previously uncovered some of Fisker Ocean's many childhood diseases. Diseases that Danish owners are also plagued by.

Jesper F., who Boosted spoke to, is one of the unfortunate Fisker owners. He has otherwise thought that it was he himself who was wrong behind the wheel.

– As a Fisker Ocean owner, I can only say that I can recognize what you write about.

– Up until now, I have thought that it was me that had something wrong with me. But I have sometimes thought "what the hell just happened there" when the car has done that, writes Jesper F. to Boosted.
