Family wants to sell one of the world's most famous racetracks

Was it something with a race track? How about Willow Springs International Raceway in California? The family-owned racetrack will be in new hands.

You get one of the world's most famous race tracks plus a go-kart and oval track in one. Yes, and more. For Willow Springs International Raceway in California is for sale.

The area, which is 2.4 square kilometers in size and was laid out in 1953, contains, in addition to the race track itself, 6 other, smaller tracks. Including two drag racing tracks.

The area, also simply called Big Willow, has been owned by the Huth family for the past 62 years. They have, among other things, have built the track area's own petrol station. After the death of family head Bill Huth in 2015, the survivors have continued to run the place.

This is stated by the broker LoopNet .

But just under 10 years later, new forces are needed. The price is not something that is publicly disclosed. So here you have to put out your best English with an American accent and grab the bone. There is no other way if you are interested. Sure, maybe an email.

That being said, Willow Springs isn't the only racetrack that has sought new hands in recent years. Earlier this year, another – albeit lesser known – racetrack also appeared on the market.

The price for the 30-hectare area is no secret. 23 million kroner, please! You can see what you get for the money in the article here .

If you can manage without a race track, Boosted has run many cool properties over the years. Also those with space for an enormous number of cars. So many, in fact, that we've created a whole category with articles just about that kind of thing. Check it out here .
