Fake Tesla Cybertruck tries to impress with 1,300 hp

Dongfeng won't say much about the '2024 Concept Pickup truck' concept. Other than that it has quite a lot of horsepower.

The Chinese can't seem to stop copying others.

BYD, which is also in Denmark, copied everything from BMW's logo to Mercedes' cars for many years. And has Dongfeng looked at the Tesla Cybertruck perhaps just as thoroughly.

In any case, it is not difficult to see where the inspiration for the concept, which the Chinese simply call '2024 Concept Pickup truck', comes from.

In order for it not to be directly reminiscent of theft, the Chinese have done more in round shapes than Tesla has. Much more.

Beyond that, the Chinese concept is eerily similar to the Tesla Cybertruck. However, Dongfeng will not say much about the technique. Maybe because it is also almost 1:1 Tesla's?

By the way, Dongfeng would very much like to go to Europe. In fact, the Chinese are so keen to sell their cars here that the brand has apparently heard about the possibility of a collaboration with Stellantis in Italy. Read more about it here .

Speaking of the Chinese brands, there are indications that they are not exactly afraid of the EU's announced tariffs. Not even though these will probably be retroactive.

The Reuters news agency can indeed document that a number of Chinese brands – including BYD – are already raising prices sharply in Europe.Read more about it here .
