European car brands pay DKK 7 billion to get rid of Chinese brands

First, Chinese Geely announced that it had sold some of Volvo. And now Stellantis says that the group has bought some of itself back from Dongfeng.

The Chinese brand Dongfeng is now sitting on a bit less of the European-American car group Stellantis. Stellantis states this in a press release . On Wednesday, the world's fourth largest car group said that it has bought back 50 million shares from Dongfeng for 934 million euros, equivalent to 7 billion kroner. The purchase is the final result of an agreement from July last year, where the two car groups agreed on something of a barter.
