When Donald Trump can once again call himself president of the United States in January 2025, he will have to be driven around in the 'company car' 'The Beast', which has cost 110 million kroner.
As the future president of the United States, Donald Trump is assigned a new car for presidential duties. The armored limousine, known as "The Beast," was developed especially for him and cost around 110 million Danish kroner to design.
The car, a Cadillac-based model, is built on GMC's TopKick platform, which is normally used for Chevrolet heavy-duty trucks. In addition to the special safety features, the limousine also has certain elements found as optional extras in regular luxury cars such as the Cadillac Escalade, including armored headlights and door handles.
Donald Trump's new car is just no ordinary limousine. The car's high price is not only due to its size or engine power – although it is equipped with a 6.2-litre V8 engine.
But rather the advanced safety measures that make it one of the world's safest choral clothing. The body of the limousine is heavily armored and the glass is bulletproof, providing extra protection for the president.
Safety is at the center of "The Beast." In addition to the bulletproof construction, the car has equipment such as night vision technology, bulletproof tires and built-in weapons.

The car is also designed to be able to protect against chemical attacks by isolating the cabin completely from the climate outside. For the same reason, the car is equipped with its own oxygen supply.
According to rumors, the car is also equipped with blood bags that match the president's blood type, so that he can receive emergency treatment if necessary. All this equipment means that the car weighs between 6,800 and 9,100 kilos.
Even though he's got this impressive car, Donald Trump doesn't have the freedom to drive on public roads. At least not by myself.
As president, he is not allowed to be transported at all by anyone other than specially appointed drivers. This may seem like a big upheaval for Trump, who has previously had a penchant for very expensive cars.
He has had several exclusive cars in his collection over the years, including a Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadster, a Rolls-Royce Phantom and a McLaren-Mercedes SLR. Conversely, Trump, who was president from 2017 to 2021, has tried this kind of thing before. So with losing the 'right' to choirs themselves.
