Director turned the Dodge Charger into an electric car and retired

One of the last things Tim Kuniskis did as director of Dodge was to retire the V8 Challenger and Charger models.

Timothy "Tim" Kuniskis has 11 days left in his working life. On Lord's Day, June 1, 2024, the man who has been in the Stellantis Group's various constellations will retire after 30 years.

Stellantis writes this in a press release .

One of the last things Tim Kuniskis got through was the killing of the Dodge top models Charger and Challenger with the V8 engine.

The Challenger will not return as a top model. But the Charger does as an electric car. In fact, Tim Kuniskis retires shortly before Dodge delivers the first examples of the Challenger Daytona electric car.

Stellantis has already found Kuniskis. It has happened internally, and when May turns into June, Chrysler's managing director Christine Feuell will also manage the entire Dodge business.

The career that is now ending began at Chrysler in 1993. Here, Kuniskis started in Chrysler's parts department, for which he became head of the brand's dealership in 2003, took over the marketing director role in 2009 and became head of Fiat in the North American market in 2011.

Tim Kuniskis is probably the man behind the death of the Challenger and Charger – that is, as we know the models – but he is also the man behind perhaps the world's coolest job posting. Read more about it here .
