Director drowned in Tesla – now there is news

The 50-year-old billionaire and shipping director Angela Chao drowned back in February in her Tesla. Now the police can say that alcohol has been found in her blood.

50-year-old Angela Chao, who drowned in her Tesla on a property in Texas on February 10 this year, was not completely orange-free when she tragically died.

The police could say that on Wednesday this week. The Blanco County Sheriff's Office has published their investigation into the incident.

This is written by the news agency AP .

The 50-year-old woman was drunk. In fact, she was so drunk that her blood alcohol level was three times higher than the legal limit for drivers in Texas, just around 2.

The woman drowned on February 10, but it was only several weeks later that the American media, the Wall Street Journal, could tell anything about the accident.

The media wrote that it was learned from several sources that Angela Chao had mistakenly found the reverse gear in the Tesla, something that in the brand's cars since 2021 has been controlled on the central infotainment screen.

The sources also described to the media that Angela Chao had several times had problems finding the right gear in a Tesla.

Her husband Jim Breyer, who is also a billionaire, did not want to blame Tesla for anything in that connection after the fatal accident. In fact, Jim Breyer considers Tesla CEO Elon Musk his personal friend.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Angela Chao called a friend in desperation when the Tesla was out in the water. Unfortunately, the rescue came too late. When it appeared after 24 minutes, it was too late.
