Danish car owners are becoming increasingly dissatisfied with their cars. In addition, Tesla is racing towards the bottom, the report Autoindex 2024 shows.
In 2023, you couldn't kick yourself for just successes at Tesla on the sales lists around Denmark.
However, 2024 has started quite differently, and according to the report Autoindex, Tesla owners are not exactly happy with their cars either.
In fairness, it must be said that car owners' satisfaction is generally declining. And that it is certainly not just Tesla that is dragging down this year's recovery.
Because while BMW is once again performing best, there are only four car brands that can note an overall improvement when it comes to the satisfaction of the Danes. And here the brand from Munich is not among them. In fact, BMW goes back by 0.8 percent compared to last year's measurement.

Only Suzuki, Ford, Opel and Nissan are doing a little better this year, if you ask the car owners. Opel is even second last in the overall measurement with a total score of 826 out of 1,000 so-called index points.
The worst is for Fiat, which in Denmark is only a shadow of itself, with 808 points. This is a decline of 2.0 percent compared to last year, when the brand was also last.
However, a brand like Tesla has plummeted on the list. A score of just 840 index points is a decline of as much as 4.0 percent compared to last year.
– This is a hyped car brand that cannot live up to the success it has had. Tesla is at the bottom when it comes to dealers and workshops, FDM believes.
However, the Danes are not the only ones who are not happy about Tesla's level of service. In this connection, there are also complaints from abroad about cars that destroy themselves. Read more about it here.
