DEBATE: "The need for cars should not be a question of choosing black or white"

The director of Seat and Cupra in Denmark believes that the car industry will be electrified within 5 to 7 years. But there is no reason to scold those who in the meantime drive diesel or petrol cars.

The Danes have a need to get back and forth in cars. But according to the director of Seat and Cupra in Denmark, Christian Sauer, the debate quickly turns into a question of either or. He writes this in a debate article for Avisen Danmark. There is very quickly very little room for respect for the Danes' need for mobility, believes Christian Sauer. He points out in his debate contribution that the car industry should not be a question of 'black versus green'. As an example, he uses the two different strategies, which he is also the director of in his own way. On the other hand, Cupra is betting on complete electrification. – In the process, we must have respect for the needs of the Danes and for the development of mobility, writes Christian Sauer in the post. At the complete opposite end is the Twitter user Daniel Moser. Since 2021, he has advocated for a ban on cars larger than the Peugeot 208. Read more about it here .
