Danish workshop shut down by motorists with the same problem

There is plenty to do in Silkeborg. At least at one of the city's garages, where you are currently bombarded by motorists with the same problem.

In Odense municipality, they have almost given up on potholes. They – that is, new holes – appear faster than the municipality's people can manage to patch the old ones.

In Silkeborg, the municipality has not given the same notice, but here they also struggle with bad roads. So much so, in fact, that mechanics report 'extraordinary busyness'.

This is written by TV Midtvest .

And it is precisely the potholed roads that are the reason why the mechanics now have to work a little harder.

– First of all, it can be tires that puncture because they get hit in a hole. It could also be a rim that gets bent, or an undercarriage component that breaks, says service manager at Bilernes Hus in Silkeborg, Morten Schmidt, to the media.

The media also spoke to a motorist who hit a 10 centimeter deep hole in the road. She now expects a bill of between DKK 7,000 and DKK 8,000.

However, it may be that she can avoid paying it herself. Because it is not always the drivers who have to shell out when a pothole puts their cars out of action.

As we have previously told here at Boosted, the holes, even though they may be large and therefore very visible, can be someone else's fault. And therefore other people's financial headaches. Read more about it here .
