Danish Frederik Vesti will be reserve choir for Formula 1 teams

In the coming season, Danish Frederik Vesti will share the duties as reserve driver at Mercedes with Mick Schumacher.

It did not lead to a permanent seat in Formula 1 for Frederik Vesti, but the young Dane still has the opportunity to get noticed on the grid.

In the coming season, the Dane will share the task as reserve driver at Mercedes with Mick Schumacher.

In addition to the role as Formula 1 reserve for Mercedes, 2024 for Frederik Vesti also means six races in the European Le Mans Series for Cool Racing.

The colleague on the reserve bench, Mick Schumacher, will also drive a Le Mans racer. He has already got one of the seats at the French Renault/Alpine this year.

Whether Frederik Vesti will sit in a Formula 1 racer this year is – despite the Dane's new role – uncertain. But the first chance is already next month, when the Formula 1 field starts a new season in Bahrain on Sunday 2 March.

Something that, on the other hand, is completely fixed is that BMW drops popular equipment in the brand new 5 Series Touring. The brand was actually already considering doing it in 2019. Read more here .
