The shares behind Novo Nordisk have risen by as much as 468% over the course of five years. And now Tesla is being overtaken internally by the company from Bagsværd.
The Novo Nordisk share is a furiously good business at the moment. In fact, it is such a good business that its value has increased by a whopping 468 percent in the past five years.
And on Thursday of this week, a further 7 percent increase. In this way, Danish Novo Nordisk is actually worth significantly more than Tesla.

At Tesla, Elon Musk sits at the head of the electric car brand, which has an immediate market value of 562 billion dollars. This corresponds to DKK 3,842 billion.

But it easily beats Novo Nordisk after Thursday's increase. In total, the Zealand company is now worth more than DKK 4,000 billion, writes the media.
It is particularly new data on weight loss on the basis of medication that help to lift Novo Nordisk's value even higher. And that doesn't just mean that Tesla has to see itself overtaken.
According to Companiesmarketcap, Novo Nordisk is the 12th most valuable IPO worldwide. In comparison, Tesla has to settle for 14th place.
But on the list comparing the 100 most valuable stock quotes at the moment, we actually find only one other car brand. Namely Toyota. And the Japanese are all the way down in 28th place.
