Danish car company goes bankrupt after just three months

Three months. The West Jutland car dealer could no longer manage in larger premises. However, the bankruptcy is due to several things, the owners explain.

The West Jutland car dealer Vestjysk Bilcenter no longer exists.

Just three months after a growing pains sent the retailer into newer and larger premises, the business has broken its neck in bankruptcy.

Dagbladet Holstebro writes that.

Otherwise, there was nothing to indicate that this would be the case. But after a good start, things have gone downhill quickly.

In an attempt to avoid bankruptcy, the owners initially tried a liquidation, i.e. selling off all the company's assets, but this could not prevent bankruptcy from happening.

The owners say that the bankruptcy is due to several things. Among other things, an investor has withdrawn, just as several people have not paid their bills. In this way, there has been no money for the used car dealer to pay its own bills.

– There was just no money to pay those who owed money, explains one owner, Michael Brogaard, to Dagbladet Holstebro.

Bankruptcy in Holstebro is just the latest in a long line of bankruptcies in the Danish car industry. Most recently, another company has gone down the drain and gone home after defrauding a Danish celebrity. Read more about it here.

But also out in the wider world, the car industry is a troubled industry. Some car brands, such as Tesla, are trying to weather bad times with mass layoffs.

This is also done at Fisker Inc. In fact, all of the remaining employees have been notified of their dismissal. In a last rescue attempt, Henrik Fisker has lost control of the brand. Read more about it here .
