Danish car company bankrupt – now it has to be sold

Volkswagen is no longer present on Bornholm. The brand disappeared from the oen when the privately owned dealer Autohuset Bornholm went bankrupt in February.

As one of just several car brands, Volkswagen is no longer present on Bornholm.

Unlike a number of other car brands on Bornholm, however, the 'disappearance number' is due to a bankruptcy at the privately owned dealer in Ronne.

That was back in February. And now the trustee of the bankruptcy estate, lawyer Peter Paldan Sorensen, states in a press release that buyers have been found for the inventory from the car dealership.

Several media reports. Including TV2 Bornholm .

– The bankruptcy estate has succeeded in selling other assets in the bankruptcy estate to Koring og Lund I/S, the press release states.

Here the owner states that they are primarily about tools. Among other things, the lifts that the Volkswagen dealer has advised.

Agreements have also been made for the tires that Volkswagen customers on Bornholm have had lying around for storage. It is another workshop on the island that takes care of this sort of thing.

The partners will not disclose how much has been paid for the inventory in the bankrupt car business. But Ret & Råd on Bornholm says that the cars that were in the car shop have not yet been sold.

When Autohuset Bornholm went bankrupt, 13 employees lost their jobs. And they have not been included as part of the transactions that the receiver of the bankruptcy estate has managed.
