It is far from the first time that cyclists and motorists have come to blows with each other. Last year, an investigation carried out by the insurance company Gjensidige showed that things are bad out there in traffic.

In fact, more than one in three Danes believe that it is cyclists who have the most dangerous behavior in traffic.

For Henrik Sagild, claims director at Gjensidige, the figure is higher than it should be.

– Even with the number of Danes who use the bicycle as their primary means of transport in mind, the number of cyclists who are injured or killed in traffic every year is still far too high, said the director in connection with the investigation's publication.
