After the clash between the Haas choirs and Sergio Perez, Red Bull's team manager is now vehemently reaching out for Kevin Magnussen.
If you ask around in the Red Bull camp, there are probably not many words of praise to be found about the field's only Dane.
On the contrary, the team's team manager, Christian Horner, is now reaching out strongly for the Dane on top of the accident that sent both Haas cars and Sergio Perez out of the Monaco Grand Prix on the first lap.

Horner is initially surprised that the Formula 1 organization left the accident as a racing incident. In other words, something no choirs were directly to blame for.

– Kevin had one wheel on the inside on a part of the track that only gets narrower. Here one must expect him to back off.
But he didn't just smash (K-Mag, ed.) Perez's lob and car. He also smashed the lob for his teammate. And it's not very cleverly done.
Asked about the injuries to the Red Bull racer immediately after Sunday's race race, Christian Horner had no answer.
– I don't know how much it has gone to the engine and the chassis. But it was clearly a significant accident. So it will be an expensive round, very expensive, says the team manager.
Nevertheless, Horner emphasized that the most important thing was that Sergio Perez could walk away unscathed from the smashed race car.
– The focus is at the moment on the safety of the crew in that situation, says the team manager.
Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hülkenberg also returned to the pit without physical injuries. But as Haas' new team principal Ayao Komatsu said after the race, Monaco 2024 was 'one of those that just goes into oblivion'.
