The judge has declared himself incompetent in a case where two men with ties to the gang milieu are accused of fraud with leasing cars in the million range.
A judge at the district court in Odense has declared himself incompetent in a case in which two men with ties to the gang milieu are accused of fraud with leasing cars in the millions.
The judge, Henning Fuglsang Sorensen, has previously ruled on a civil lawsuit in which the now defendant parties were involved.
The case to which the judge refers concerns a case against a leasing customer, which the company from Copenhagen itself brought.

Due to the judge's statement, the new case must now be re-opened. Specifically, it concerns fraud with leasing cars for a good 2.7 million kroner.
But due to the disqualification, the case can now only begin in April. It is not, however, because the former leading gang member who stands accused in the case is unknown in a courtroom – and not at all when it comes to leasing fraud.
Last year, he was convicted in a similar case involving nine leased cars, where the state was tried to be defrauded of a million in registration tax. It cost him eight months' probation and a fine of more than one million kroner.
