Cookie monster risks the choir card – the flash in the Audi RS 2

On a stretch of the German Autobahn, a motorist dressed as the world-famous cookie monster was flashed in an Audi RS 2. It might cost the choir ticket.

An Audi RS 2 has been flashed on the motorway between Dortmund and Frankfurt am Main in Germany. The police can immediately only see a cookie monster behind the wheel.

However, the world-famous Muppet character from the children's program Sesame Street can hardly miss the car. Therefore, the real owner, a 57-year-old man from the local area, is now facing a revocation of the choir card.

This is written by WDR .

The fine is usually 40 euros because the car has a short speed of 91 kilometers per hour in an 80 zone. But the German police can't see the fun in the dressing up, there is also an increase in the stall on the way. Specifically, the penalty is 60 euros, equivalent to 450 kroner.

– It does not help the relatives if someone thinks that the driver was wearing a funny costume, says the German police about the car accident.

Because in Germany – similar to Denmark elsewhere – there is ownership liability in the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, the 57-year-old man also risks losing his driving licence. The police believe that he has broken the rules on proper visibility.

Something that in Denmark, and especially in the winter period, costs motorists every year either stalls or the front, because they simply cannot see properly from either mirrors, front or side windows.

This is not the first time one of the Muppet characters has been caught on a police camera. The same thing happened a few years ago to the figure Fozzie on a piece of English tarmac.

However, it is not quite as uncommon as it might sound for other than people to be flashed by the police. For example, it has happened more than once that a dog has been caught with its paws on the steering wheel. Or at least close to. Read more about it here .
