Clarkson put to hate: "Better to die of boredom?"

On social media, the former Top Gear host is being blamed for his own heart problems. Now he answers again – is it better to die of boredom?

Jeremy Clarkson, known from the TV show "Clarkson's Farm", recently underwent heart surgery after experiencing discomfort while on vacation.

That Clarkson went public about it in a column has since sparked quite a debate on social media, with some users criticizing Clarkson's lifestyle while others defended him.

Clarkson, known for his penchant for root wine and cheese, had ignored symptoms such as tingling in his arms and feeling unwell during a holiday. Back in England, he was rushed to hospital, where doctors diagnosed a blocked artery.

– I was there when it happened, he took it easy and went straight to the hospital," says Kaleb Cooper, Clarkson's colleague from "Didly Squat Farm".

Clarkson himself described the incident in his column in The Times: "I felt the tingling, like needles in my arms."

After the surgery, Clarkson received both support and criticism on social media. Some believed that his lifestyle was to blame for the heart problems, prompting him to reply again: "Is it better to die of boredom because you have to eat vegetables?"

However, Kaleb Cooper denies that Clarkson's diet is the cause of the heart problems. Instead, he believes that it is due to stress from working with both the farm and a newly opened pub.

– I think it is connected with all the work both with the farm, but also the newly opened pub, all of which has sent Jeremy's blood pressure through the roof, says Cooper.

The incident has focused on the balance between work and private life, and shows that even well-known personalities can be affected by unexpected health problems.
