Cars from famous Tom Cruise movie found abandoned in forest

There are rumors going around right now that Days of Thunder is getting a sequel. But what actually happened to the cars from the first Tom Cruise film in 1990? They ended up in a forest.

Do you remember the Tom Cruise movie Days of Thunder from 1990? You know the one about Nascar? Have you actually thought about what became of the cars from the movie?

A YouTuber found them in a forest in Florida. The cars, which once droned around race tracks for the cameras, are now in a sorry state.

The YouTuber, who calls himself Coors Bandit, got a tip that the cars were in a forest. After a long search, he found them and contacted the owner. The cars, which have been in the forest for years, are now rusty and dilapidated. There are even large rust holes in several of them.

"I'm a little worried about what's left of them and whether they're even worth buying, but I have a trailer," says Coors Bandit, who decided to buy the cars.

However, getting the cars transported away was not an easy task. They were in such poor condition that it was difficult to even load them onto the trailer.

"This car is so ridiculous I don't know what to do with it, but I'm going to this lengths to get it," says YouTuber Joe Jackson, who also calls himself Coors Bandit.

Despite the long journey and the hassle of getting the cars home, the new owner has no plans to renovate them. He believes they are too damaged to be restored.

"I don't think these cars can be renovated. I think they're perfect the way they are. I don't want to lose the originality from when they were filmed. If they're in a climate-controlled environment, they'll do just fine," says Joe Jackson.

The cars from the Tom Cruise movie "Days of Thunder" will not be returning to the racetrack. Instead, they will remain a memory of the film and a reminder of the ravages of time.

While "Days of Thunder" may not have achieved the same iconic status as the Tom Cruise film "Top Gun," it still has a place in film history, and now the iconic cars from the film have been given an afterlife of sorts. Perhaps they'll appear in the sequel, as is currently rumored.
