Can you drive sideways in a Toyota Yaris? We're testing the all-new gas plug, the GR Yaris

It should be close to an impossible task to drift in something as ordinary as a Toyota Yaris. But with 261 hp and four-wheel drive, the new GR Yaris is anything but ordinary.

There are a large number of requirements for the cars that must participate in the World Rally Championship – also called the WRC. Among other things, the racing car must be based on a series-produced car in a certain volume. And since Toyota uses their small Yaris for the WRC, they have now created the very special GR Yaris street car as the basis for a future rally car. And what does GR mean? Yes, it stands for Gazoo Racing, and it is Toyota's new division for motorsport and sporty street cars. The new Supra is also called GR by first name. Test of the GR Yaris The GR Yaris will be introduced in Denmark in January, and on that occasion Boosted was invited to the Danish presentation at Toyota in Copenhagen.
