The sedan models are getting longer and longer. But in the world of SUVs, Cadillac is now promising to keep the body shape alive.
Although General Motors – and thus Cadillac – is officially back in Europe after Opel was sold to the Peugeot/Citroen group in 2017, it is not certain that we will see anything for the brand here at home.
Having said that, Cadillac is now doing its part to ensure that an almost forgotten type of car survives. Because while the competitors are increasingly building taller and ever larger SUVs, Cadillac insists that there must also be room for the sedan.

– We will definitely have a sedan in our future model range, says Simcoe to the media.

At the same time, the chief designer let a number of media know that Cadillac is making a comeback in Australia this year. Just as it has happened in Europe.
And while Mike Simcoe wasn't much to say much about what engine the brand will put in an upcoming sedan, Cadillac's model line-up says it all.
Similar to the relaunch in Europe, Cadillac only brings EVs when they return "down under". The Australians can, among other things, come close to the enormous Escalade iQ.
A huge shed on four wheels that is technically identical to the GMC Hummer EV. That means a weight of 4,100 kilos but a whopping 1,015 horsepower.
While Cadillac is making a comeback in our latitudes, there are other brands that are taking flight out of Europe. And not only that. The electric cars they tried with are so disappointing that they are now considering building cars with a combustion engine. Read more about it here .
