No one buys the C63 AMG with 4 cylinders. So now Mercedes lowers the leasing price by DKK 70,000. At least in the US.
The new Mercedes-AMG C63 with 4-cylinder hybrid engine produces 671 horsepower. By comparison, the previous model with a V8 engine had 503 horsepower.
Still, the coppers stay away. And after significant price drops on the model at home in Germany, the American importer is trying a similar move. If you want to lease the car, there is a discount of 10,000 dollars (approx. DKK 70,000) to come after.
According to Doug Horner, sales manager at Mercedes-Benz in North Olmsted, Ohio, customers can obtain a total discount of $10,000 (about DKK 70,000) through a combination of a so-called leasing bonus and a base discount on the car.
This corresponds to a monthly saving of 300 dollars (approx. DKK 2,100) in service over a three-year leasing period.
That's what Motor1 writes.

The new C63 has a starting price of $87,200 (approx. DKK 608,000) for the 2025 model. That is, in the United States. However, there are indications that sales are not meeting expectations at all.
The switch from a V8 engine to a four-cylinder hybrid may be a deciding factor for buyers, although the new model is an improvement in almost every area. At least technically.
The 2.0-liter four-cylinder turbo engine and the electric motor deliver significantly more horsepower. So even though the car weighs 2,177 kilograms in sedan form, 0 to 100 km/h is over in 3.3 seconds. There is just not much engine sound.
Conversely, Mercedes' top boss in the AMG department does not believe that his customers buy an AMG because of the sound. They come here 'for the sake of technology', it says.
AMG has defended the decision to introduce a hybrid model in its performance sedan as the "progressive" step. However, they recognize that it may take time for customers to get used to the new hybrid technology.
